Industrial Engineer with a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso (PUCV, Chile). Currently serves as Director of the Doctorate in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and as a research professor at the Universidad Católica Boliviana “San Pablo” – Tarija campus. He also leads the Research Center for Energy and Environmental Development (C-IDEA). His work focuses on the optimization of manufacturing systems, as well as the analysis of reliability and availability, applying metaheuristics to support decision-making in industrial environments. He has led research projects and published scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals.
